The Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec grapes were sourced from carefully selected trellised vineyards in Stellenbosch. These low yielding vines contribute to an increased concentration of flavour in the wine.
Inky ruby with a youthful purple rim.
Knockout aromas of dark berries, plums, vanilla, violet, faint cigar box and fynbos burst from the glass.
Serious and elegant blend from five of the Bordeaux style varieties – a wine with real pedigree – powerful in youth with taught refined tannins from all new oak barrel maturation. Textured mouth feel with the perfect harmony between opulent dark fruit core, tannin and acid, delivering weighty richness and precision. Bursting with personality and energy – will reward the patient. Complex with a smoke and gentle spice finish.
